Joining & Payment Help

Use this page for clear guidance on choosing a membership, submitting payment, receiving your member number, and getting help when something does not go as expected.

1. Choose Your Membership

Basic Membership — $10 per year

Select Basic when you want access to SIA's Basic member benefits.

Premium Membership — $25 per year

Select Premium when you want access to Premium benefits, including the ability to request Live Access.

2. Complete the Membership Form

Enter the required information, select your payment method, accept the required agreements, and click Create My SIA Member Number.

Important: Use an email address that has not already been used for an SIA membership registration.

3. Save Your Member Number

After submitting the form, SIA creates a permanent member number for you. Save it. You will use that number with your payment and when requesting certain member services.

Do not submit another registration if you already received a member number.

4. Submit Your Payment

Zelle

  1. Open Zelle.
  2. Send the exact amount shown on your payment page.
  3. Send it to the payment destination displayed there.
  4. Put your exact SIA member number in the payment message or memo.
  5. Return to the payment page and click I Submitted My Payment.

Cash App

  1. Open Cash App.
  2. Send the exact amount shown on your payment page.
  3. Send it to the Cash App tag displayed there.
  4. Put your exact SIA member number in the payment note.
  5. Return to the payment page and click I Submitted My Payment.

5. What Happens After Payment

Zelle and Cash App memberships remain pending until the payment is verified. Most memberships are activated much sooner, but please allow up to 12 hours.

After activation, SIA sends an activation email to the address used during registration.

Please do not register again while waiting. A second registration creates unnecessary duplicate records and may slow down assistance.

6. Common Problems

I already registered, but I have not been activated.

Confirm that the payment was sent for the exact amount and that your exact SIA member number was included in the payment message or memo. Then allow time for verification.

I lost or closed the payment page.

Contact SIA using the support email below. Include your full name, registration email, payment method, and member number when available.

The form says my email already exists.

An SIA registration already exists for that email address. Do not create another registration. Contact SIA for help locating or completing the existing membership.

I sent the wrong amount or forgot my member number.

Contact SIA and provide the payment method, amount, approximate payment time, full name, and registration email so the payment can be reviewed.
